Im Video zu «Stress» ist die Verliebte aber einsam, alt, allein – ent-liebt. Wie kam es dazu? Was spiegelt was, wer spiegelt wen? Wer oder was ist der grösste Feind der Liebe, ausser wir selber? Was haben alte Menschen in der schnellen Welt der Popkultur verloren? War alles doch nur ein Traum? Und wo zur Hölle wachen wir danach eigentlich auf?
Quintessenz liefert locker und gut frisiert einige Antworten, natürlich nicht alle. Und egal was passiert: An die erste Liebe erinnern wir uns ein Leben lang. Let’s go. (Doktor Fisch / RFV Basel)
Das Musikvideo Stress ist eine Zusammenkunft vieler Ideen der Indie Pop Band Quintessenz und des Regisseurs; Nicolas Heitz von Jensen & Heitz GmbH. Es wurde im Sommer 2019 in Binningen gedreht, um auf die kommende Platte „less than three“ aufmerksam zu machen. Mit der Unterstützung von Freunden, Familie und natürlich der Jensen & Heitz GmbH haben die vier Jungs ein Villa umdekoriert, eine neue Atmosphäre gezeugt und sind in neue Rollen sowie Anzüge geschlüpft.
In the video for "Stress", however, the woman in love is lonely, old, alone - de-loved. How did it come about? What reflects what, who reflects whom? Who or what is the greatest enemy of love, apart from ourselves? What have old people lost in the fast world of pop culture? Was it all just a dream? And where the hell do we actually wake up afterwards?
Quintessence provides some answers, but not all of them, of course. And no matter what happens: We remember our first love for a lifetime. Let's go. (Doctor Fisch / RFV Basel)
The music video Stress is a meeting of many ideas of the indie pop band Quintessenz and the director; Nicolas Heitz of Jensen & Heitz GmbH. It was shot in Binningen in summer 2019 to draw attention to the upcoming album "less than three". With the support of friends, family and of course Jensen & Heitz GmbH, the four boys have redecorated a villa, created a new atmosphere and slipped into new roles and suits.
